ORDINANCE NO. 85-8-2720
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JOE LINDLEY CONTRACTING, INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $13,630.00, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 60 SEWER EXTENSION IN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH.SERVICE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Joe Lindley
Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $13,630.00, for construction of sewer extension on
Highway U.S. 60 in the City -of Paducah, Kentucky. Bidding approval was waived due to
an emergency existing for the construction of this sewer line.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Joe
Lindley Contracting, Inc., authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifi-
cations, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated
in the bid.
SECTION 3. The aforesaid expenditure shall be charged to the Sewer
Depreciation and Extension Fund Account and/or West End Sewer Project Bond Fund.
SECTION 4. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance will
become effective immediately upon one reading.
