HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-8-2719374 ORDINANCE NO. 85-8-2719 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING NAUTILUS SPORTS CENTER PERMISSION TO CONNECT TO THE EXISTING GRAVITY SEWER LINE LOCATED ON BERGER ROAD IN McCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY WHEREAS; Nautilus Sports Center is constructing a Health and Exercise Complex on Berger Road in McCracken County, Kentucky; and WHEREAS, Nautilus Sports Center has requested permission to tap into the City of Paducah sanitary sewer system. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. Permission is hereby granted for Nautilus Sports Center to connect the Health and Exercise Complex located on Berger Road to the City of Paducah sanitary sewer system. SECTION 2. Any other connections to the City of Paducah sanitary sewer system on the line between Nautilus Sport Center's property and where it taps into the City of Paducah sanitary sewer system shall not be permitted SECTION 3. The City of Paducah by this ordinance shall not assume any responsibility for the construction, maintenance, or in any other way, for the line where it connects into the City of Paducah sanitary sewer system. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall not grant to any other person the right to tap into said sewer line and does not change or modify any other ordinance of the City of Paducah. SECTION 5. For use of the services and facilities of the municipal sewer system, Nautilus Sports Center shall pay a rate of One Hundred Forty (140%) percent of the current charge for such services for customers inside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
