ORDINANCE NO. 85-8-2715
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ASPHALT PAVING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $337,801.19,
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PHILLIPS PARK SEWER EXTENSION IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH SERVICE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION_1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Asphalt Paving, Inc., in the
amount of $337,801.19, for construction of. Phillips Park Sewer Extension in the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of
Commissioners on April 9, 1985, and as contained in the bid of Asphalt Paving, Inc., dated July
18, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Asphalt Paving,
Inc., authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The aforesaid expenditure shall be charged to the Sewer Depreciation and
Extension Fund Account and/or West End Sewer Project Bond Fund.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
