ORDINANCE NO. 85-7-2707
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF $5,943.00 TO WAHL'S EXCAVATING COMPANY
FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO THE SEWER MAIN AT 27TH AND JONES STREETS
WHEREAS, this emergency is occasioned by the collapse of a portion of the main
sewer line in the system.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor enter into a contract with Wahl's Excavating
Company for the sum of $5,943.00, for emergency repairs to the sewer main at 27th and
Jones Streets.
SECTION 2. That the Sewer Depreciation and Extension Fund Account shall be
charged with the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. Due to the emergency nature of the problem and the need to
immediately commence repairs to the system, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage with one reading.
