ORDINANCE NO. 85-7-2702
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF $12,386.00 TO MOTOROLA, INC. FOR
THE PURCHASE OF COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY TO EXIST
WHEREAS, the Police Department wishes to purchase communications equipment
which is available under State Contract No. 06691185; and
WHEREAS, the Procurement Code waives competitive bidding for purchases
under State Contract.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That City Treasurer be authorized to pay to Motorola, Inc. the
sum of $12,386.00 for the purchase of communications equipment for the Police
Department.
SECTION 2. That the aforesaid expenditure shall be charged to the
Communications Equipment Fund Account.
SECTION 3. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect upon its passage with one reading.
