ORDINANCE NO. 85-6-2698
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WHAYNE SUPPLY COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$170,460.00 FOR A TRACK TYPE DOZER, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE ON THE LANDFILL, AND
-AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE.CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Whayne Supply
Company in the amount of $170,460.00 for a track type dozer to be used on the
landf ill, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement'for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of
Commissioners on May 14, 1985, and as contained in the bid of Whayne Supply Company
of May 24, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Whayne
Supply Company for sale to the City of a track type dozer authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said dozer shall be charged to Account
No. 20-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
