ORDINANCE NO. 85-6-2697
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD , INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$18,760.00 FOR A TEN CUBIC YARD PACKER BODY WITH ONE -TON CAB AND CHASSIS, FOR SALE TO
THE CITY FOR USE BY THE PARKS DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Paducah Ford,._Inc.,
in the amount of $18,760.00 for a ten cubic yard packer body with one -ton cab and
chassis to be used by the Parks Department, said bid being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal
Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on May 14, 1985, and as contained in the
bid of Paducah Ford, Inc., of June 3, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Paducah
Ford, Inc. for sale to the City of a ten cubic yard packer body with one -ton cab and
chassis authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said packer body with cab and chassis
shall be charged to Account No. 10-500-610-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
