ORDINANCE NO. 85-6-2687
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE WITH McCRACKEN
COUNTY, KENTUCKY, FOR THE PADUCAH CITY JAIL
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized and directed to enter into an
Agreement with McCracken County, Kentucky, for lease of the Paducah City Jail.
SECTION 2. The aforesaid Lease is attached hereto and by reference
incorporated herein, and all terms and provisions thereof are approved.
SECTION 3. Due the necessity of formalizing this lease prior to July 1,
1985, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately after one reading.
