AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID- OE-McKEEL EQUIPMENT CO., INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$4,599.00 FOR A NEW ONE AND ONE-HALF TON S,RHL50W,`EAGER BEAVER ROLLER AND_IN-THE AMOUNT OF
$1,695.00 FOR A NEW TL4 EAGER BEAVER TRAILER, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE'BY THE STREET
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the .City of Paducah accept the bid of McKeel:Equipment Co,
Inc., in the amount of $4,599.00 for anew one and one-half ton SRH -150W Eager Beaver
Roller and in the amount of .$1,.695.00 for a new TL4 Eager Beaver Trailer to be used by the
Street Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of
Commissioners on April 9, 1985, and as contained,in the bid of McKeel Equipmdnt Co, Inc.,
of April 24, 1985.
SECTION 2. .That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with McKeel
Equipment Co, Inc. for sale to the City of -:one Eager Beaver roller-and-traildr authorized
in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said roller and trailer shall be charged to
Account No. 20-500-330-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
