ORDINANCE NO. 85-3-2664
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF
KENTUCKY, FINANCE &-ADMINISTRATION.CABINET, FOR A PORTION OF THE CITY HALL ANNEX BUILDING
WHEREAS, the Probation and Parole Office currently leases a portion of the City
Hall Annex; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Paducah and the�Probation and Parole
Office to renew their current lease.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,- KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a Lease with the
Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Probation and Parole
Department; said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set out
herein.
SECTION 2. Due to the impending expiration of the current lease, and in order
to renew same in a timely manner, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage with one
reading.
