ORDINANCE NO. 85-3-2661
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PARKSON CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$30,175.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF 850 FLEX -A -TUBE AIR DIFFUSERS FOR USE BY THE SEWAGE
TREATMENT DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Parkson Corporation for
sale to the City of 850 Flex -A -Tube air diffusers, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on February 12, 1985, and as
contained in the bid of Parkson Corporation, dated February 25, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Parkson
Corporation for sale to the City of 850 Flex -A -Tube air diffusers authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. .The purchase price for these diffusers shall be charged to the
Sewer Extension and Depreciation Fund..
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
