ORDINANCE NO. 85-2-2654
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE WITH THE LAMAR
CORPORATION
WHEREAS, Lamar Corporation constructed a sign on Paducah Downs property in
July, 1984; and
WHEREAS, said property was dedicated by Paducah Downs to the City of
Paducah for right of way in September, 1984; and
WHEREAS, Paducah-::Downs,has ceased doing business at this location; and
WHEREAS, it is advantageous for the City of Paducah and The Lamar
Corporation for the sign to remain at its present location.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a lease with The
Lamar Corporation, which lease is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully
set out herein, for the following described property:
32nd Street extension to Downs Drive, N/0 U.S. 60 West,
approximately 5 feet W/O Downs Drive
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
