ORDINANCE NO. 85-2-2647
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AND COVENANT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND DR.Ei3-STIVERS
WHEREAS, Dr. Steven Stivers is the owner of a tract of land adjoining City
of Paducah right -of way at Kentucky Avenue and South 20th Street, and
WHEREAS, Dr. Stivers has requested from the City of Paducah permission to
use a portion of the right-of-way which is designated as South 20th Street.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a lease and covenant
with Dr. Steven Stivers to use a portion of City right-of-way on South 20th Street
for ingress, egress and parking.
SECTION 2. Said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if
fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. In order to implement this agreement as soon as possible so
that the leasee may complete construction of this project, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective with one reading.
