ORDINANCE NO. 85-1-2642
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BROOKS CONTAINER -SERVICE TO SUPPLY
APPROXIMATELY 64 REFUSE CONTAINERS FOR ONE YEAR TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Brooks Container Service,
for sale to the City of approximately 64 refuse containers, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on December 11, 1984, and as contained
in the bid of Brooks Container Service, dated December 27, 1984, at the following prices:

* 2% discount - 10 days; net 30
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Brooks
Container Service for sale to the City of approximately 64 refuse containers authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for these refuse, containers shall be charged to
Account No. 20-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
