HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-1-2629ORDINANCE NO. 85-1-2629 AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 32-83.5, AND AMENDING SECTION 32-93 OF CHAPTER 32, WATER AND SEWERS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 32-83.5, Fee, Private Collectors, of Article III, Sewer Service Charges, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, shall be created to read as follows: "Section 32-83:5. Fee. Private Collectors. The City Mayor shall not issue the permit required by Section 32-92 of the Code of Ordinances to private septic tank collectors for disposing of waste into the City sewage treatmentfacilities until the applicant has paid a fee therefor in the amount of Six Hundred Fifty ($650.00) Dollars per tank truck for each year, or fraction thereof, for which the permit is to be issued. No such fee shall be refundable." follows: SECTION 2. That Section 32-93, "Permit application", is hereby amended to read as "Sec. 32-93. Permit application. An application for a permit required of private septic tank collectors shall be presented to the city manager in writing, and shall specify the, frequency that said collector expects to dispose of said refuse, and the names of all persons working in his employment. No permit shall be issued unless the applicant holds a valid license from the Cabinet of Human Resources as required by KRS 211.970 through 211.982. A copy of the said State License shall be attached to the application for a City Permit." SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication in full.
