HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-1-2628216 ORDINANCE NO. 85-1-2628 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC, INC. IN --THE AMOUNT OF $10,574.61, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1985 -STATION WAGON FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., in the amount of $10,574.61, for sale to the City of one new 1985 Chevrolet Caprice station wagon to be used by the Police Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 13, 1984,`and as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., of December 3, 1984. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for sale to the City of one new 1985 Chevrolet Caprice station wagon authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said station wagon shall be charged to Account No. 20-500-210-514. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
