HomeMy WebLinkAbout86-12-2957ORDINANCE NO. 86-12-2957 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GRUMMAN EMERGENCY PRODUCTS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $138,000.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE PUMPER ENGINE, CAB AND CHASSIS, TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT,FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah -accept the bid of Grumman Emergency Products, Inc. in the amount of $138,000.00, for sale to the City of one pumper engine, cab and chassis, for use by the Fire Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order „passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 11, 1986, and as contained in the bid of Grumman Emergency Products, Inc., dated November 24, 1986. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Grumman Emergency Products, Inc., for sale to the City of the pumper engine, cab and chassis a authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said pumper engine, cab and chassis shall be charged to FY 1987/88 Account Number 10-500-220-514, or 20-500-220-514, or the KML Pooled Program, at the discretion of the City Manager. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
