AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MIDSTATES CONSTRUCTION, INC. IN THE AMOUNT

OF $12,993.00 FOR REPAIRS TO FIRE STATION NO. 4, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Midstates -
Construction, Inc., in the amount of $12,993.00 for repairs to Fire Station No. 4,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on
September 23, 1986, and as contained in the bid of Midstates Construction, Inc., of
October 30, 1986.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Midstates
Construction, Inc. for repairs to Fire Station No. 4, authorized in Section 1 'above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said repairs shall be charged to Account
047,
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
