ORDINANCE NO. 86-11-2939
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF J.R. SULLIVAN CO., INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,498.82
FOR TWO NEW MODEL PTOW-60 YAZOO MOWERS, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE PARKS AND
RECREATION DEPARTMENT, AND IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,751.50, FOR ONE NEW MODEL PTOB-48 YAZOO MOWER,
FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bids of J.R. Sullivan Co., Inc., in
the amount of $9,498.82 for two new PTOW-60 Yazoo Mowers to be used by the Parks Department,
and in the amount of $3,751.50 for one new PTOB-48 Yazoo Mower to be used by the Cemetery
Department, said bids being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of
Commissioners on October 14, 1986, and as contained in the bids of J.R. Sullivan Co., Inc., of
October 30, 1986.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with J.R. Sullivan Co.,
Inc. for sale to the City of three new Yazoo Mowers, authorized in Section 1 above, according
to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said mowers shall be charged as follows:
$9,498.82 to Account No. 10-500-610-514, and $3,751.50 to Account No. 10-500-430-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a 'certified summary thereof.
