ORDINANCE NO. 86-11-2938
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
IN THE AMOUNT OF $130.00 WITH ASPHALT PAVING, INC. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY
62 SEWER EXTENSION
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for the
construction of U.S. Highway 62 sewer extension; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was approved on August 26, 1986; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required in -order to purchase additional rip
rap for this construction.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to enter into Change
Order No. 2 in the amount of $130.00 with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for the purchase of rip
rap for the construction of U.S. 62 sewer extension. This Change Order is attached
hereto and made a part hereof as if set out in full.
SECTION 2. The amount.of the contract with Asphalt Paving, Inc. is amended to
$36,670.12.
SECTION 3. The 1985 Sewer Construction Account shall be charged with the
aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
