AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE IBM PC/XT AND ACCOMPANYING EQUIPMENT
FROM COMPUTERLAND, FOR USE BY THE INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF $3,337.16, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is authorized to purchase this equipment under State
Contract Number 086-1558.
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Computerland in
the amount of $3,337.16, for the purchase of the following IBM equipment, for use by the
Inspection Department:
IBM PC/XT w/512 K, 20 N6, Monochrome Monitor,
Mono/Prt Adaptor $2,326.00
Printer Cable 28.00
IBM Proprinter XL 639.20
IBM DOS 3.2 76.00
Box of 10 Diskettes 23.96
Installation Charge 244.00
Total $3,337.16
SECTION 2. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to Account No.
10-500-240-503.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
