ORDINANCE NO. 86-10-296�
AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 2-47.5, "NONCIVIL SERVICE GENERALLY" OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-47.5 "Noncivil Service Employees Generally", of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be created so that same shall hereafter read
as follows:
"Section 2-47.5. Emergency Communications Department.
(a) The salary range of individual employees shall be set by the Board of
Commissioners by Municipal Order within the range hereinafter set forth. The number of
employees in each position shall be set by Municipal Order.
Position Salary Range
Emergency Communications Supervisor $1,731.00 to 2,000.00
Emergency Communications Dispatcher 1,148.00 to 1,319.00
Emergency Communications Trainee 5.00 Per Hr.
Emergency Communications Dispatcher - Part-time 4.25 Per Hr.
SECTION 2. In order to establish the Emergency Communications Department as
rapidly as possible, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective with one reading.
