ORDINANCE NO. 86-8-2898
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF EVANSVILLE AUTO PARTS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$13,935.00 FOR ONE ONAN ELECTRIC DIESEL DRIVEN GENERATOR, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE
E911 COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Evansville Auto Parts, Inc.,
in the amount of $13,935.00 for one new 40.ODL6T-15R Onan electric diesel driven generator to
be used by the E911 Communications Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners on July 22, 1986, and as contained in the bid of Evansville Auto
Parts, Inc., of August 7, 1986.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Evansville Auto
Parts, Inc. for sale to the City of one new 40.ODL6T-15R Onan electric diesel driven generator,
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said generator shall be charged to Account No.
25-215-523.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
