ORDINANCE NO. 86-8-2897
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE,QUOTATION OF LINDBLAD & FRAZIER ASSOC... INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $11,365.00, FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT OF AIR CONDITIONING UNIT AT
JAYCEE CIVIC CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, non-competitive negotiations are being implemented and the Mayor is
authorized to accept the quotation of Lindblad & Frazier Assoc., Inc. and enter into a
contract for emergency repairs and replacement of air conditioning unit at Jaycee Civic
Center.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the quote of Lindblad & Frazier
Assoc., Inc. in the amount of $11,365.00, for emergency repairs and installation of air
cooled Carrier air conditioning unit at Jaycee Civic Center.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Lindblad &
Frazier Assoc., Inc. for emergency repairs and replacement of air conditioning unit
authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said air conditioner shall be charged to Account
No. 10-500-620-525.
SECTION 4. Due to the immediate need to repair the air conditioning system because
of advanced bookings for the months of August and September, 1986, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective immediately with one reading.
