ORDINANCE NO. 86-7-2885
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF PADUCAH FORD, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,303.00
FOR ONE F150 PICKUP TRUCK, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND IN
THE AMOUNT OF $9,552.00, FOR ONE F150 PICKUP TRUCK, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE
REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bids of Paducah Ford, Inc., in
the amount of $9,303.00 for one F150 pickup truck to be used by the Street Department, and
in the amount of $9,552.00 for one F150 pickup truck to be used by the Refuse Department,
said bids being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on May 29,
1986, and as contained in the bids of Paducah Ford, Inc., of June 17, 1986.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Paducah Ford,
Inc. for sale to the City of two pickup trucks, authorized in Section l above, according to
the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said trucks shall be charged as follows:
$9,303.00 to Street Department Account No. 20-500-330-514, and $9,552.00 to Refuse
Department Account No. 20-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
