ORDINANCE NO 86-7-2883
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN PROFESSIONAL FIRE-
FIGHTERS OF PADUCAH, LOCAL 168, IAFF, AND CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, on September 1, 1978, the City and Union entered into a contract
concerning wage rates and other conditions of employment; and
WHEREAS, the City and Union entered into an Amendment to Contract on July 31,
1985, provided in part that wages may be modified for the year starting July 1, 1986;
and
WHEREAS, the City and Union have reached an agreement as to wage rates to be
effective July 1, 1986.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Amendment to Contract by and between Professional Fire-
fighters of Paducah, Local 168, IAFF, and the City of Paducah wage rates, effective
July 1, 1986, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized to sign said Amendment to
Contract on behalf of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. To implement the Amend to Contract without any unnecessary delay,
an emergency is hereby declared exist and this ordinance shall be effective upon one
reading and publication in full.
