AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING
THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON BLOOM AVENUE IN LITTLEVILLE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH
ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on June 16,
1986, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION
ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON BLOOM AVENUE IN LITTLEVILLE", be approved as
the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in
said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive
plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is
hereby, changed from R-4, High Density Residential Zone to M-2, Heavy Industrial Zone:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Bloom Avenue, said point being
the southeast corner of the property of Chester Hack and the northeast
corner of the Kevin Woodson property; thence in a southerly direction a
distance of 170 feet to a point in the center line of Bloom Avenue; thence
in a westerly direction along the south property line of Kevin Woodson and
the north property line of the First Free Will Baptist Church a distance of
176 feet to a point in the center line of a 12 foot alley; thence in a
northerly direction a distance of 82.5 feet to a point in the center line
of a 15 foot alley, thence in a westerly direction a distance of 6 feet to
a point; thence in a northerly direction a distance of 87.5 feet to a
point; thence in an easterly direction a distance of 180 feet to the point
of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be
found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of
such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section,
paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
