ORDINANCE NO. 86-7-2878
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-49 "CITY MANAGER - GENERALLY" OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-49 "City Manager - Generally" of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that same as
amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 2-49. City Manager - Generally.
The annual rate of compensation for the City Manager shall be paid at the times
other city salaries are paid, and shall be exclusive of the compensation, if any, paid to
him as a member of the Electric Plant Board of the City.

SECTION 2. In order for this raise to be retroactive to July 1, 1986, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be effective upon its passage with one
reading.
