ORDINANCE NO. 86-6-2849
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY THE SUM OF $7.,754.65 TO ALDERSON
ELEVATOR COMPANY, INC. FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO THE CITY HALL ELEVATOR
WHEREAS, City Hall is accessible to the elderly and the handicapped only by the
elevator; and
WHEREAS, Alderson Elevator Company is the only source in this area that can make
these repairs; and
WHEREAS, non-competitive negotiations are being implemented and the City Treasurer
is authorized to pay Alderson Elevator Company, Inc. for the these repairs.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That City Treasurer be authorized to pay to Alderson Elevator Company,
Inc. the sum of $7,754.65 for emergency repairs to the City Hall elevator.
SECTION 2. That Account No. 20-500-150-494 shall be charged with the aforesaid
expenditure.
SECTION 3. This work has been completed, and in order to expedite payment for
same, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance will become effective with
one reading.
