ORDINANCE 86-6-2848
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING. SECTION 122-3(b), FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION, OF THE PADUCAH CODE
OF ORDINANCES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 122-3(b), Flood Damage Prevention, of the Paducah Code of
Ordinances, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 122-3. General provisions.
(b) Maps adopted. The areas of special flood hazards identified by the
Federal Insurance Administration in its flood hazard boundary map (FHBM),
and Flood Boundary and Floodway Map, No. 210152, date dated A"44 -}15f-}988
February 12, 1982, and applicable portions of the McCracken County Flood
Hazard Boundary Map No. 210151, date dated June 4, 1980, and any revisions
thereto are adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter;
or the areas of special flood hazard identified by the Federal Insurance
Administration through a scientific and engineering report entitled, 'The
Flood Insurance Study for the City of Paducah,' dated October, 1979, or the
'Flood Insurance Study of McCracken County', dated December, 1979, with
accompanying flood insurance rate maps and flood boundary and floodway.maps
and any revision thereto are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be
a part of this chapter."
SECTION 2. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be
found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of
such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provison
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section,
paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
