AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE.PURCHASE OF ONE USED 1967 FORD F600 TRUCK WITH
1400 GALLON TANK IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,500.00 FROM A & B PLUMBING, FOR USE BY THE SEWAGE
TREATMENT DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
WHEREAS, A & B Plumbing is the only source in this area with this used
equipment available; and
WHEREAS, non-competitive negotiations are being implemented and the Mayor is
authorized to enter into a contract with A & B Plumbing for the purchase of one used
1967 Ford F600 truck.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah purchase from A & B Plumbing one used
1967 Ford F600 Truck with 1400 gallon tank in the amount of $3,500.00, for use by the
Sewage Treatment Department.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with A & B
Plumbing for sale to the City of one Ford truck authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said truck shall be charged to Account No.
10-500-410-514.
SECTION 4. An emergency is hereby declared to exist in order to purchase this
equipment while it is available, and this ordinance will become effective with one
reading.
