ORDINANCE NO. 86-4-2831
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF EDITING EQUIPMENT FROM MIDWEST
CORPORATION, FOR USE BY THE GOVERNMENTAL ACCESS CHANNEL 111. FOR THE SUM OF $4,477.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
\' WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is authorized to purchase this equipment under
State Contract Number 1840426.
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah purchase from Midwest Corporation, one
Panasonic NV -A500 Editing Controller, one Panasonic NV -8500 %" Editing Recorder/Player,
and two Panasonic CT -1330M Color Monitors, for use by Governmental Channel 11, for the sum
of $4,477,00.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Midwest
Corporation, for sale to the City of the Cable TV equipment authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said TV equipment shall be charged to Account
No. 10-500-990-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
