AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AGREED ORDER BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND COMMONWEALTH
OF KENTUCKY, NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION CABINET, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREED ORDER
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah operates a waste disposal site located northwest of
the City off Hinkleville Road; and
WHEREAS, the City's permit expired on January 30, 1985.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. An Agreed Order between the City of Paducah and Commonwealth of
Kentucky, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet, is approved, and the Mayor
is authorized to execute said Agreed Order for operation of the City of Paducah landfill.
SECTION 2. This Agreed Order is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully
set out herein.
SECTION 3. In order to ratify this Agreed Order as quickly as possible, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance will become effective with one
reading.
