ORDINANCE NO. 86-4-2825
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BY
AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND
MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, AFL-CIO, LOCAL 1586
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a Memorandum of Agreement
by and between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and American Federation of State, County
and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, Local 1586, covering the period from April 1, 1986,
through March 31, 1988. This Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein as
if set out it full.
SECTION 2. A formal contract will be agreed on between the parties and
submitted at a later date.
SECTION 3. The present contract between the City of Paducah and AFSCME Local
1586 has expired, and the parties have reached an agreement authorizing the Mayor to
enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with AFSCME Local 1586; therefore, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective with one reading.
