ORDINANCE NO. 86-3-2811
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB -SECTION (a) OF SECTION 25-1, "NUMBER, RANK AND SALARIES OF
MEMBERS OF DEPARTMENT" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub -section (a) of Section 25-1, "Number, rank and salaries of members of
department", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and
reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 25-1. Number, rank and salaries of members of department.
(a) The number and rank of members of the police department of the City of Paducah and
the salary of each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of consecutive
years of service in the police department:

SECTION 3. The salary changes set forth in this ordinance are to be retroactive to
January 1, 1986. Overtime rates will be retroactive to January 1, 1986.
SECTION 4. In order to implement the raises contained in this ordinance
retroactive to January 1, 1986, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
will become effective upon one reading.
