ORDINANCE NO. 86-2-28017
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF AUTOMATED WASTE SYSTEMS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$13,800.00 FOR ONE TRS 66 E=Z LOADER WITH BUCKET, AND ACCEPTING THE BID OF MUNICIPAL
EQUIPMENT, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,565.00 FOR ONE PEERLESS 23 HD -ML DUMP TRAILER, FOR SALE
TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Automated Waste Systems in
the amount of $13,800.00 for one TRS 66-E-Z_Loader with Bucket and accept the bid of
Municipal Equipment, Inc. in the amount of $7,565.00 for one Peerless 23 HD -ML Dump
Trailer, to be used by the Street Department, said bids being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order
passed by the Board of Commissioners on January 14, 1986, and as contained in the bids of
Automated Waste Systems dated February 4, 1986, and Municipal Equipment, Inc., dated
February 3, 1986.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute contracts with Automated Waste
Systems for sale to the City of one TRS 66 E -Z Loader with Bucket, and with Municipal
Equipment, Inc. for one Peerless 23 HD -ML Dump Trailer, authorized in Section l above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for Loader and Trailer shall be charged to Account
No. 20-500-330-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
