ORDINANCE NO. 86-2-2801;
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GARDNER BUICK - AMC, INC. IN THE AMOUNT
OF $11,594.00 FOR ONE NEW 1986 BUICK LeSABRE CUSTOM FOUR DOOR SEDAN, FOR SALE TO -THE
CITY FOR USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Gardner Buick - AMC,
Inc., in the amount of $11,594.00 for one new 1986 Buick LeSabre Custom sedan to be
used by the Fire Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners on January 14, 1986, and as contained in the bid of
Gardner Buick - AMC, Inc., of February 4, 1986.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Gardner
Buick - AMC, Inc. for sale to the City of one new Buick LeSabre 4 -Door sedan,
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said automobiles shall be charged to
Account No. 20-500-220-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
