ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF B. G. WAID CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT
OF $6,100.00 FOR PURCHASE FROM THE CITY OF ONE 25,000 GPD SMALL PACKAGE CAN-TEX TREATMENT
PLANT
WHEREAS, this 25,000 GPD Small Package Can -Tex Treatment Plant is surplus
property, and the City does not have any foreseeable future need for this property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah advertised this property for sale in The Paducah
Sun on January 22, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the bid of B. G. Waid Construction Company was the highest bid received
for this property.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of B. G. Waid Construction
Company in the amount of $6,100.00 for purchase from the city of one 25,000 GPD Small
Package Can -Tex Treatment Plant, said bid being in compliance with the bid specifications,
as contained in the bid of B. G. Waid Construction Company of January 30, 1986.
SECTION 2. This sewage treatment plant is being sold as is, where is.
SECTION 3. The proceeds from the sale of this plant shall be credited to
Account No. 10-400-000-660.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary therof.
