ORDINANCE NO. 86-2-2q4-7-
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT WITH
THE OLD NATIONAL BANK BUILDING PARTNERSHIP FOR AN ENCROACHMENT OF AN HISTORICAL FACADE AT
THE ROOF LINE THAT ENCROACHES INTO CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY BY APPROXIMATELY 26 INCHES, FOR THE
RENOVATION OF A BUILDING LOCATED AT 304 BROADWAY
WHEREAS, Old National Bank Building Partnership is the owner of certain real
property located at 304 Broadway; and
WHEREAS, this location does not provide sufficient space for the renovation of an
historical facade; and
WHEREAS, Old National Bank Building Partnership has requested from the City of
Paducah permission to renovate an historical facade at the roof line of the above-described
building.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into an
Encroachment Agreement with Old National Bank Building Partnership for an encroachment of
an historical facade at the roof line that encroaches into City right-of-way by approxi-
mately 26 inches, for the renovation of a building located at 304 Broadway.
SECTION 2. Said Encroachment Agreement is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. The Mayor and Corporation Counsel are to approve the content and form
of this Encroachment Agreement.
SECTION 4. In order to implement this agreement as soon as possible so that
construction may be completed on this project, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall become effective with one reading.
