ORDINANCE NO. 86-2-2800
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH JAMES L. SINQUEFIELD TO
PROVIDE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF RAYMOND SCHULTZ RIVERFRONT PARK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a contract with James L.
Sinquefield for the following architectural services for the development of Raymond Schultz
Riverfront Park:
I. Develop a master plan for the park's development as follows:
A. Identifies present areas for development by specifying location of the following
items:
1. Fitness stations
2. Shelters
3. Lighting scheme
B. Identifies and designates areas for future development and specifies types of
potential.activities
II. Identify riverbank areas in need of stabilization and specific materials for
accomplishing this task
III. Propose a method of disposition or utilization for unrelated structures in the park
area
IV. Determine and identify landscape needs
V. Recommend a phase -by -phase overall development scheme for implementing future park
development.
SECTION 2. The cost for these services will be Forty Dollars ($40.00) per hour, with
reimburseable expenses billed on a monthly basis and charged to the Riverfront Park Project, or
Contingency Account No. 10-500-150-494. These costs will be shared on an equal basis with
McCracken County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
