AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-58, "CIVIL SERVICE", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 10-58, Police Department, of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said section as amended and
reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 10-58. Police Department.
(a) There is hereby authorized and created the following positions in the Police
Department, and the salary of each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion
of consecutive years of service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the City
Manager:

SECTION 2. The salary changes set forth in this ordinance are to be effective as
of January 1, 1986.
SECTION 3. In order to implement the raises contained in this ordinance, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance will become effective upon one
reading.
