ORDINANCE NO. 86-1-2892
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF
$10,567.00 EACH FOR TWO NEW 1986.CROWN VICTORIA S 4 -DOOR AUTOMOBILES, FOR SALE TO THE
CITY FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Paducah Ford, Inc., in
the amount of $10,567.00 each for two new 1986 Crown Victoria S 4 -Door automobiles to be
used by the Police Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by
the Board of Commissioners on Novem
ber 26, 1985, and as contained in the bid of Paducah Ford, Inc., of Decem
ber 18, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Paducah Ford,
Inc. for sale to the City of two new 1986 Crown Victoria S 4 -Door automobiles, authorized
in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said automobiles shall be charged to Account
No. 20-500-210-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
