ORDINANCE NO. 86-1-2785
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF LEON & STEPHEN TERRY, FOR RENTAL OF VARIOUS
EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH RENTAL
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF-PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Leon & Stephen Terry, for
rental of the following equipment, at the following per hour prices:
Excavator, $70.00 Dump Truck (single axle), $30.00
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on December
10, 1985, and as contained in the bid of Leon & Stephen Terry, dated December 20, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Leon & Stephen
Terry for rental of the equipment listed above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said rental equipment shall be charged to
Account Numbers 10-500-320-369 - Flood Construction; 20-500-330-354 - Street Paving &
Construction; 10-500-340-354 - Street Paving; 10-500-610-525 - Expansion & Development, Parks
Department; 10-500-420-215 - Refuse Rental of Equipment; 10-500-150-494 - Contingency Fund;,
10-500-160-257 - Contract Repair Construction; 10-500-430-525 - Expansion & Development;

10-500-440-355 - Sanitary Sewers; 10-500-440-356 - Storm Sewers; 20-500-240-274 - Trees,
Weeds & Debris; and the Sewer Depreciation and Extension Fund.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
