Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the executed cbpies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m. on June 1, 1971, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4) . Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the following bids for sale to the City of three (3) 1971 pick-up trucks for use in the Public Works and Cemetery Departipents, be received and filed: Wilson Chevrolet-Cadillac,Company Allan Rhodes, Inc. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4). Commissioner Harvey- .offered motion.," seconded by .-Commissioner Hornsby., that Harold L. Coleman be employed as a temporary intern in the Finance Office, effective June 1, 1971, at a salary of `$250.00 per month. Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the claim of Kenneth McReynolds for damage caused to his vehicle on May 18, 1971 as a result of a collision with the Parks & Recreation Department police vehicle operated by Charles Yandell be allowed, and that the City Treasurer be authorized to pay the sum of $87.00 after first obtaining a complete and final release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the following bids for sale to the City of one new one-half ton pick-up truck for use at the sewage treatment plant in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed: Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. Allan Rhodes Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Hamock Funeral Home of the southeast corner of Lot 313 in Block 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave.
