Sell graves Rushing Add Mrs.Heroline Senter City of Paducah November 10, 1970 At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on November 10, 1970, Mayor Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Harvey, Fisher, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5) . Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, that the reading of the Minutes for October 13, 20 and 27, 1970 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor'dherry'(5)'. Mayor Cherry offered the following motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey: I move that Mrs. Max Sacharnoski be selected and elected director of the Forest Hills Public Project Corporation for a term of five years beginning November 22, 1970, so that said Board of Directors and the expiration of the term of each director shall be as follows: George Beiderwell, November 22,-1971,.... George Wiley, November 22, 1972 William F. Paxton, November 22, 1973 Dandridge F. Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the following bids for sale to the City of two (2) refuse compaction units for use in the refuse department of the City of Paducah, be received and filed: Manning Equipment, Inc. Johnston Machinery Company Dealers Truck Equipment, Inc. Brandeis Machinery & Supply Corporation Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5) . Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Mrs. Heroline Senter of four graves, being the west one-half of Lot 27 and the west one-half of Lot 28 in Block 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery for the sum of $500.00, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery graves. Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah November 10, 1970 Deed from Mrs. Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, that the Carrye Segenfelte to City executed and recorded deed of dedication from Mrs. Carrye B. Segenfelter to the --City of Paducah, conveying property for right-of-way at the intersection of Ridgewood -and Buckner -Lane, dated November 6, 1970, be received, accepted and filed.,- •Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and'Mayor= ' herry (5) . Liab. Insurance -Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, that the Slay Plumbing Co. liability insurance policy issued by Fireman's Fund Insurance Company to N. C. Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher;" that'the Lewis to City executed and recorded deed --from Mrs. Lena S. Lewis to the City -of Paducah -conveying Lot 11 -in -"Block -2 in Miller, Owen and Bradshaw's "Oak Park" Addition, dated November 3, 1970, be received accepted and filed. Deed to Downtown Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the Civic Center Plaz City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the Deed of Dedication from the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the property bounded by Washington, Fifth, Clark and Sixth Streets, and that said deed be recorded in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office and thereafter filed with the official records of the City. Joan Nelson employed Peggy Black civil servic( Board of Commissioners City of Paducah November 10, 1970 Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the Certificate of Insurance issued by the Fidelity and Casualty Compsny of New York to La Verna Littleton d/b/a Littleton Plumbing and Heating Repair Service and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for a period of one year from November 1, 1970; be received approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, as follows I move that the letter of William D. Duke, President of Paducah Midstream Service, Inc. authorizing and requesting an assignment of their lease of City property on the Tennessle River, outside the floodwall, at the Flood Control office, to Columbia Marine Service, be received and filed, and I further move that the requested assignment to Columbia Marine Service, Inc. of the lease that was originally approved by resolution -of this Board dated June 11, 1968, of record in Ordinance Book No. 16, page 625, to TOC Marine Serfrice, Inc. and subsequently assigned on March 11, 1969 by TOC Marine Service, Inc. to Paducah Midstream Service, Inc., be approved.
