W.H.Yancy & So Asphalt Paving Company 77 At a Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 5:30 P.M. on July 1, 1970, Mayor Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioner Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Mayor Cherry offered motion that the executed copy of an Agreement by the Mayor and Commissioners for a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, to be held on July 1, 1970 -at 5:30 P.M. be received and filed. The motion was seconded by Commissioner�Fisher and upon call of the Roll was unanimously adopted as follows: Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the liability insurance policy issued by The Aetna Casualty and Surety Company to Bobby Butler d/b/a Bobby Butler Concrete, for a period of one year from July 27, 1970, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the Certificate of Insurance issued by National Surety Corporation to the City of Paducah, covering work done by Mathis Plumbing and Heating for the period of time from June 29, 1970 to August 21, 1970, together with Bond in the amount of $1,000.00, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, that the City's compulsory retirement provisions be waived as to Leon Bradley of the Engineering Department, and that his employment be extended from July 23, 1970 to and including December 31, 1970. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4), Commissioner Fisher voted "NO". t % Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the City's compulsory retirement provisions be waived as to T. Yancy & Sons Asphalt Paving Company and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for a period of one year from July 22, 1970, be received, approved and filed. Board of Commissioners City of Paducah Jull, 1970 Annex proper adjacent to west corpor- ate limits Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING ADJACENT TO THE WEST CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND DEFINING ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN SAID CORPORATE LIMITS", be adopted.
