Co. car for V City Manage r 4 6Y At a Called•.Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 4:00 p.m. on December 22, 1972, Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4), Commissioner Lambert being absent (1) . Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4:00 P.M. on December 22, 1972, be received and filed. adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the following bids for sale to the City of one (1) 1973 automobile for .use by -the City Manager be received and filed: Ray H. Mullen Motor Company Felean Motors, Inc. Allan Rhodes, Inc. Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that,the executed copy of the contract between the City of Paducah and Wilson Chevrole Cadillac, Inc., for sale to the City of eight (8) new 1973 4 -door automobiles for use in the Police Department, two (2) new 1973 4 -door automobiles for use in the Detective Division, and one (1) new 1973 van truck for use in the Police Department, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Is Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that James A. Hammonds, supervisor of Maintenance in the Park Department, be transferred to the Inspection Department as a Housing Code Enforcement Officer, effective January 1, 1973, at a salary of $522.33 per month. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear as follows: I move that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF Ray H. Mullen Motor COMPANY, INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) 1973 FOUR DOOR AUTOMOBILE FOR USE BY THE CITY MANAGER, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE", be introduced and remain on No.— 4914&Y' Proceedings of Board of commissioners Cky of Paducah December 22, 1972 file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its fina 1 pa ssage.
