Dept of High- ways for I-24 _ Cay of November 28,. 1972 447 At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Cham in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 p.m., on November 28, 1972, Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Com- missioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Mayor McNutt offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for November 14 and 21, 1972 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the following personnel changes be made: 1. That paragraph 1 of the personnel change adopted by the Board of Commissioners on October 17, 1972, -reading as follows: "James A. Hammons, maintenance super- visor in the Parks Department, be transferred to the Street Department as Senior Foreman, at a salary of $677.33 per month, effective October 30, 197211, be rescinded, retroactive to said date of October 17, 1972. 2. The following persons be employed as temporary laborers in the Street Department, at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to November 16, 1972: Bill G. Gregory Dennis Wayne McCoy 3. Clarence A. Brock be employed as laborer in the Street Department, at a salary ,of $2.50 per hour, effective November 28, 1972. 4. Bill Gregory, temporary laborer in the Street Department, be terminated, retroactive to November 17, 1972. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the reports of the Paducah Water Works for the month of November, 1972, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE AMENDMENT OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF SECTION 20, SECTION 40 AND SECTION 51 OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971, AND AMENDING SAID SECTIONS", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED CONVEYING PERMANENT EASEMENT TO THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF I-24 AT ITS CROSSING WITH THE PADUCAH FLOODWALL ADJACENT TO HUSBANDS ROAD", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . No. 448 Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah November 28, 1972 I Sewer Tap -on Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an ordinance fees for Minnich Ave. entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNT TO BE CHARGED FOR CONNECTING TO CITY SANITARY SEWERS CONSTRUCTED ON MINNICH AVENUE FROM FRIEDMAN LANE TO A POINT APPROXIMATE- LY 400 FEET WEST OF LILLIAN AVENUE (37TH STREET), PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CONNECTI PERMITS, PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT OF THE CONNECTION CHARGES, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS HEREOF", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). On motion the meeting adjourned. ADOPTED f `�- 1972 City Clerk r. APPROVED Mayor
