F .Goodrich tires Report of Planr ing Commission rezone N side Clay btw 12 & 1 Streets File applicatic Construction Grant Water Works Bids on Water Works Bonds Accept Bache & Co & Associates City of N October 24, 1972 435 At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 p.m., on October 24, 1972, Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4), Commissioner Harvey being absent (1) . Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the reading of the Minutes for October 10, 17 and 18, 1972 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby. Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the petition protesting the showing of X-rated movies in the City of Paducah, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roli, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to John and Gladys Wedel of the North one-half of Lot No. 99 in Section 7 in Oak Grove Cemetery for the sum of $750.00, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery lot. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that th executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and B. F. Goodrich Store for sale to the City of its requirements of automobile and truck tires, be received and fill,, Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that report of the Paducah Planning Commission setting forth its reasons for recommending the rezoning of property on the north side of Clay Street between 12th and 13th Streets be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and .Mayor McNutt (4) . Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF APPLICATION WITH THE DEPARTME OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FOR A CONSTRUCTION GRANT UNDER THE TERMS OF PUBLIC LAW 89-177, AS AMENDED", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby. Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION LISTING THE PURCHASE BIDS RECEIVED FOR $685,000 No. Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah October 24,. 1972 'CITY OF PADUCAH WATER WORKS REVENUE BONDS, SERIES OF 1972'; ACCEPTING THE BEST BID; AND ESTABLISHING THE INTEREST COUPON RATES WHICH SHALL BE APPLICABLE THERETO", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryea3 and Mayor McNutt (4). On motion the meeting adjourned. ADOPTED 1972 APPROVED Mayor. City Clerk
