At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held in the Training Room at the
Paducah Police Department at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2005, Mayor Paxton presided,
and upon call of the roll by the City Clerk, the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Coleman, Sirk, Smith and Mayor Paxton (4). Commissioner Guess was late
(1).
MOTION
R & F NOTICES
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Smith, that the Notices
of Called Meeting for the Board of Commissioners for 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2005,
be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Sirk, Smith and Mayor Paxton
(4).
WORKSHOP
This meeting was held for a Commission Budget Advance.
Commissioner Guess arrived approximately at 8:30.
The City Manager recommended two budgets, Operating Budget and an Investment Budget
be discussed. The Operating Budget is for the General Fund budget, however, the Investment
Budget will be funded by increasing the City's Occupational Wage Tax. A copy of the
"Manager's Budget Letter" is in the Minute file.
It was decided that the Commission Workshop for June 7th be cancelled but the Commission
Meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on June 14th be rescheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
